Vol.1, Issue 2 - The Season Ends, Almost
A fun day out for some of our youth players and our Under 15s are to play Woodnesborough FC in the fight for the top of the table.
Welcome to this week’s club newsletter. This will be a shorter issue, primarily due to a lack of things to report. However, despite the conciseness of this email, we have a few things to mention.
HALF-TERM FUN DAY
On Wednesday morning club members, and non-members alike gathered at The Bear Trap for the first in a series of football fun days. John, Michael, JP and Diane were all on hand to welcome the children to Barham.
The children set about performing drills, learning skills, and getting stuck into their day of soccertastic fun with the weather set fair. The boys and girls were brilliant, a real credit to the club, their parents and themselves.
We will be running sessions throughout the summer holidays, with the coaches working out a progressive training schedule for all that come along. There will be more emphasis on skill progression across the summer, but rest assured, there will be bigger, better games and competitions for the children to enjoy.
If you would like to make a booking, please email us at events@barhamfc.com to secure your places. We will publish further information over the next few weeks.
UNDER 15 YOUTH TEAM NEWS
The Barham Youth Under 15s will be in action this weekend at the Brickfield Recreation Ground. The team have had a fantastic season, remaining at the top of their division for most of the year. However, Captain Joshua Julian and the boys will be taking on the mighty Woodnesborough Under 15s, another local team fighting to take the top spot by the end of the season. Sunday’s game is the first of back-to-back fixtures in Barham. The kick-off is at 2 PM, with the final match of the season taking place a week later at the same time.
The team want as much support as possible for both of these games, so if you can make it, the boys will be pleased to see you there.
